Mold maintenance, or tool maintenance, refers to the cleaning and repairs that are needed to keep an injection mold in the best working order. Maintenance is performed routinely over the life of the mold and also when any problems arise.

Glasfil Polymer provides in-house mold maintenance and repair services. Our injection moulding section is just a stone’s throw away from the injection mold making tool shop thus allowing us to provide a fast repair lead time. Once the repair work is completed we can send the mold to our injection moulding department to ensure that it is working properly before returning it back to the customer.
