PRODUCTION ENGINEER
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To perform injection moulding machine operation and troubleshooting.
- Know how to set parameter in Plastic Injection Machine
- To perform mould set up and down when necessary.
- To perform mould cleaning when needed.
- Responsible for new mold trial and qualifications.
- Responsible for establish the standard of moulding condition and ensure process consistency.
- Troubleshoot process difficulties on daily basis and support production
- Work on continual improvement projects to improve efficiencies and reduce scrap
- Maintain engineering database and documentation as required
- Work closely with all related departments, eg. R&D, QA, Engineering, Assembly & etc
- Must possess strong leadership skills; Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate level of computer skills.
- Must be HANDS-ON and be willing to work on the floor
- Working knowledge of plastic injection process, terminology and injection tooling
- Understanding of plastic materials and ability to research materials
Requirements:
- Candidate possess at least a certificate in Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent.
- Preferable at least 1 year experience in plastic injection and moulding field.
- Able to handle general machinery and equipment.
